About the staff

Paul and Sallie Lakin have owned and managed Redan Auto Electrical in Kaitaia since April 2002.

Paul has been a trade certified Auto Electrician for nearly three decades and has worked all over the world on a variety of different vehicle types. He has a wealth of knowledge and experience.

Paul manages the business, workshop and showroom on a day to day basis as well as remaining on-the-tools, Paul's specialities are heavy commercial vehicles, lighting solutions and air conditioning.

Sallie looks after the day to day administration, accounts and staff management.

Pat is a trade certified Auto Electrician and has worked in the business for the past 17 years. She has a vast range of experience across different vehicles and is our specialist in telematics, truck and trailer fleet servicing, alarm and E-road installation and configuration. She is also experienced in specialty wiring for custom-built, rotary and vintage vehicles.

Ricky is a trade certified Automotive Technician who has many years experience under his belt, both mechanically and electrically. He has also worked in Parts, sourcing and fitting the most appropriate batteries, parts or other products.
